Our first real meal at the house. This was breakfast as soon as we woke up: Some pasta I have never seen before with mushroom sauce.

Our little Mia was severely jet lagged and fell asleep on me in the restaurant

It was a big hullabaloo when Tony, the boyfriend of Anna appeared a few hours after we first sat down in the restaurant.

Elisa looks a bit surprised by the standing ovations, Tony the owner of a wilderness safari in Africa, got.

This was a true treat to witness. Hand made tagliatelle from scratch, just the way they have done it for hundreds of years. It was one hell of a treat to eat as well. Thank you so much Barbara for that experience!

Every batch of tagliatelle went through the same process. Hand rolled on to this wooden stick (flattened out while rolled up), then rolled out again, and then on again. This takes tremendous patience and time.

This is taken a few meters down the hill. You can see the outside eating area, kitchen, lounge area, and the bad ass pizza oven that he had to prep little after we arrived. That is a week of heating up before use. You gotta know your plans before using that thing.

The church Martin and Elisa got married in. Present was this dead guy, naturally entombed hundreds of years ago.

The center of Saludecio. This is right outside the church and a common meeting ground for local since it also features a cafe
