For almost the entire time on Highway 1, the fog was so abundant and thick, that we could not see any cliffs or sea at all.
The sea was replaced by fog
It looks cool, but it would have been nice with just temporary fog....
Just hit a patch of sea without any fog
First stop. Just a random beach along the way. It was far from warm at this spot.
Even though this beach isn’t a tourist attraction, Niklas still thought it was amazing. The little fella has never been to the ocean before, and neither has Silvia.
We stopped at Bixby Creek Arch Bridge. Due to the fog, you could barely see it at times
Me, taking pictures of Bixby Creek Arch Bridge
We tried to stop and take pictures when the fog allowed. Basically, this is how Highway 1 looks like the entire way down to LA
As you can see, there is a reason why we took the long way down. Highway 1 is gorgeous.
It was to foggy when we got to McWay Falls to even see it, so we started hiking some trails on the opposite side
Like my sister Rika would have said: "We don't have the same father"
Indeed, there are worse places to live
McWay Falls, the only waterfall to dump straight onto sand

A look at the European's personal driver
Right after we left McWay Falls, we hit traffic. Thick, non-moving traffic. The reason was an accident and a subsequent grass fire. Luckily, the fire fighters worked fast and we hit the accident at a late stage.
A closer look at why we were more than an hour delayed
Santa Monica Beach, just outside Los Angeles city limits
Niklas' female counterpart was not as eager as him to step into the water
Those are some sexy dudes!
Underneath Santa Monica Pier
Looking for crab like creatures that lives just under the surface of the sand, and gets washed up each time the water comes. Must be a stressful life to live like that...
Silvia making fun of me for not bringing flip flops
I was not aware of this attempt on my life
Walking along Hollywood Blvd.
Hooters Hollywood. $10 a beer, but they give you plenty of ranch dip

Somewhere along Franklin Blvd
Anyone notice the sign in the background...?
Last stop before heading back home, Beverly Hills, and it's many million dollar homes
