This is to the left, but taken at the spot as the fist picture.

This is just to simply illustrate what we could ecounter if we don't follow certain regulations.

Me, Christ, and Theron came to the endpoint earlier than the other party, so we had some time to kill. And why not posing on the large rock we found at the beach? You can see if from a distance from the earlier picture.

Even Theron thought it would be a great idea to show off some muscles.

This is Chris's try to make an artistic shot....success or not, the small rocks were pretty darn cool.
Comments (0)
He sure looks cool, but he was somewhat scared of the water coming up again.

A closer look at what this part of the beach consisted of.

Chris is trying to fight off evil spirits, but I don't know if balancing hot rocks on the forehead would do the trick.

A closer look at this witchcraft.

A very large snail in it's natural habitat.

And here is MockY in a mosquito infested hole, the same cave the snails resides in.
Comments (0)
And Theron is trying it out as well. If that face is caused by mosquitoes or snails is still unknown.

This is the old lightning house. Not in use anymore but still "open" so that we could go inside to explore.

This little fella was sunbathing on the road leading to the lighthouse.

Theron is the first one to go up the lighhouse. It does have its disadvantages though. He hit his head failry severely. Take a close look at his eyes and you see that he is in pain.

Chris went back to get the "slow pack"

Theron is enjoying the view from the lighthouse.

The hole is not really made for full grown computer geeks like us but we all managed to get through.

View from the ligthouse.

Yet another picture of the view.

Our evil backbacks are waiting for us.....

The "grownups" are posing around the lighthouse.

There was a very large collection of seals on the beach close to the lighthouse. I was "forced" to investigate.

This is our first campsite. As you might notice, the sun is no where to be found and a very strong wind is blessing us with its presence. This was just the beginning however and later that night the wind picked up so strong it was really hard to fall asleep. Add to that was the fact that is was colder than midwinter in northen Sweden....

There was alot of jokes about religion (lets just leave it at that for now...) but this must be as close to God as you can come.Imagine you have been walking with demp clothing, chilling wind, and a mist constantly slapping your face for more than 3 hours, and this is waht you see. The sun is way underrated sometimes.

The fog is caressing the treetops.

Chris is leading us on. This stretch was one of the few that didn't involve the beach.

Theron is showing where the ocean is (just in case we forgot) and despite this marijuana-look of his, he is not specifically tired.
Comments (0)
This is the path that leads down to the ocean again.

Chris, Theron, and I was always ahead of the tortoise-gang behind us, so we are currently waiting in the valley leading down to the beach.

Another picture of the previous valley.

This is me, walking.............

Don't be fooled by some peoples clothing, this climate is nothing other than very cold.

This i a big ass ravine we had to climb in order to avoid drowning. Even though the trail was fairly well marked, some people decided to try anyway. As a result, there was a few wet boots. For the record, I was not one of them.

Me trying to be artistic. Don't ask me what flower it is though.

Chris takes a picture of the group from a large rock. From left: Theron, Scott, Peter, Glenn/William, and Mike.

Theron is all by himself. He looks rather tired and bored, but he sure made the picture artistic.

We are close to the end of day 2 and this is the second major land stretch.

It's hard to show how steep and tall these moutains are, but it sure takes a while to climb them. And in some cases impossible.
Comments (0)
Another try to be artistic.

Chris is quite a garbage collector. The wight of this rope covered baboo didn't seem to stop him from attaching it to his backpack.

View from the beach.

This is the valley coming down to our camp. This was our final destination for day 2 and it's like becoming a smorgasbord for bears.
Comments (0)
Theron is chilling in the large shelter.

The human tortoises arrived like always much later than us, but atleast they made it.

This spider was munching on this grasshopper. Unfortunately, I scared him off and he withdrew a little bit. You can still see him though on the left.

Me, Theron, and Chris decided to climb the mountain when we were done setting up camp. Here is the veiw half way up.

More pictures from the mountain.

Yet another one.

Climbing this this is not easy. Notice Therons shirt. That is not water...
Comments (0)
A proof that I went up here with them.
Comments (0)
It might look easy, but climbing up as alot easier than climbing down. This however is a rather flat strech.

Right before bed time, this creature floated into shore. It was a baby great white, but looked exactly like an adult. We had to get rid of this thing before the bears got the scent.

Here is a close up of this magnificent creature.

Fist picture of day 3. This day started great with sun and no wind at all and actually continued like that for the rest of the day.

This is the third major strech of land.

Not many pictures were taken this day, so here is the camp already. Chris the garbage collector found use for his garbage. Here is his second hamock. A very comfortable one.

A couple of other hikers scared this mother with two kids so bad it tried to take cover in our camp. She later reunited with one of them but the second kid was no where to be found.

First picture of day 4. This little fella was not happy to see me at all.

Yet another magnificent place we passed when strolling around on the beach.

After 4 days of walking, waiting, walking, waiting, I decided to leave them all behind and walk for myself. Otherwise it would take 66 years to get to the car. This is the last I saw of them before I left.

Mike loads his Honda Ridgeline.

5 very stinky and hungry guys.

This is the road leading out from the Lost Coast. After spending 4 days with the sea, this sight is pretty spectacular.
