Whiskey a Go-Go. Like they put it themselves: As long as there has been a rock scene, there has been Whiskey a Go-Go. In other words, all rockers walks through these doors at one time in their lives.

Inside Rainbow Bar & Grill. A horrible place to eat but it is absolutely packed with rock 'n rock memorabilia, and pretty much all rockers have dined here. Martin sits at the spot Bret Michaels once sat, and tries to imitate the picture in the background.

I guess I thought the long wait for the waitress to come back from her drug binge is getting to me. Once I got my first beer (we had walked for hours at this point along Sunset Blvd), the smile came back.

Where we ate when we came back from a exploratory day in downtown LA. We took public transit (a buss in this case) and this was Martin and Elisa's first In-N-Out experience.

Grand Central Market, a large indoor market in the historic part of Los Angeles. You can buy fresh produce, pig heads, dried herbs, Mexican fast food, and everything else you can put in your mouth. Interesting smells to say the least.

Odd place to sleep. Even for a bum. Maybe hoping a car would ram him over?

Olvera Street. The oldest part of LA. It is basically a Mexican market. A long street with just vendors, selling everything from instruments and clothing, to food (plenty of it) and horse saddles.

We finally settled in at Casey's Bar & Grill. After hours of walking around, many beers were welcome.

A few beers in... I always have a smile on my face when drinking this beverage.

Public transit in LA is not for me. However, I did not piss myself here, even though the picture says otherwise.
